These words, attributed to Ben Franklin, speak to the central philosophy behind what I do at MB-Health—from my weekly personal coaching; to the healthy community that I bring to you; to my coaching videos and audios, and my action-orientated workshops, and “mind” training classes—I don’t simply “teach” you, but instead, involve you, and bring to you a support system that is truly relevant to your long-term well-being and success.
The MB-Health Approach To Nutrition and Eating
There is no “one” singular way to eat. The human body is both highly adaptable and also unique. So there are many ways to eat, depending on your culture, environment, personal needs, food preferences, budget, and also your body, blood and metabolism type.
For instance, the countries well known for low obesity rates, include the Asian cultures (Philippines, Thailand, Japan and Okinawa) and in Europe, the French. Asian cultures enjoy small servings of fish, soy, white rice, red meat, sauces (often lightly sweetened), and ample fresh, local vegetables. The traditional French diet, however, is filled with small servings of pastries, rich cream sauces, poultry, fish and red meat, combined with ample legumes, and fresh local vegetables with quality wines and cheeses.
One diet does not fit all!
For this reason, at MB-Health, I work with a variety of natural eating plans that involve real, whole natural foods: For some of our clients, the currently popular Paleo or Keto diet is preferred; others choose a plan including a balance between all three macronutrients (carbohydrates, protein and fats), such as a diet plan recommended by an RD (dietician) from one of our affiliate programs; others choose to follow the Weight Watchers plan, the Whole-30-program or a program better suited to their culture and values.
MB-Health respects and honors these different approaches
I will work with you to find the best program suited to your needs. My job is to guide and support you to find what is right for you, and then offer powerful “mindset” programs and skills, based on the most current neuroscience research, to help you to remain motivated to consistently stick with a healthy LIFESTYLE plan that involves small, balanced and sensible portions of whole, natural foods. Listed in this link are eating plans we work with.
Note: I do not support diet plans that substitute whole, natural foods for powdered meal replacement shakes, or packaged, “dead” foods (energy bars etc.), which I believe lack living energy and quality nutrients.

I’ll make you the captain of your own ship. We don’t talk diet or weight loss together, but instead, we talk about your health and healthy habits.
I’ll bring to you a healthy and supportive community.
I work with real life issues. Together, you and I work on your stress and time management skills, and I’ll show you how to tackle a 24/7 busy lifestyle with ease and joy.
I’ll teach you how to prepare easy and nutritious meals, and also how to eat healthy and on the go, working closely with the supermarkets and restaurants in your local community.
I’ll teach you what good nutrition is, making healthy eating easy, fun and delicious.
I’ll show you how to exercise for your body and personality type. We’ll work closely with your local gymnasiums and the variety of exercise centers in your area (yoga, Pilates, spin, martial arts classes etc). It is not “my way or the highway”, but instead, we’ll work with available resources to best support your individual needs.
